MISSION STATEMENT
Provide exceptional customer service to the citizens of the
City of Chelan relating to land use planning, building construction,
fire & life safety issues, by providing the technical and
professional assistance to meet the needs of the citizens and the
development community.
The City of Chelan Planning Department handles all Current Planning,
Zoning and Long Range Planning.
Current Planning is responsible for all land
use planning and permitting. The department performs permit and
development review, provides public information about development,
policies and regulations and enforces development codes.
Long Range Planning plays a significant
role in guiding long-term development based on direction and involvement
of members within the community.
